 Daniel Fuertes received the Bachelor’s degree and the PhD degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain, in 2019 and 2025, respectively.

He joined the Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes (Image Processing Group) in 2020, contributing to several collaborative research projects with industry partners. Since 2025, he has served as Assistant Professor at the E.T.S. de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación.

His research interests include artificial intelligence, deep learning, reinforcement learning, autonomous navigation, vehicle routing problems, computer vision, machine learning, and signal processing.
