Academic Excellence Awards

On December 12th, the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (ETSIT) at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) held the awards ceremony recognizing academic excellence for the 2024-2025 academic year.

On behalf of the retired faculty, Narciso García, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Signals, Systems, and Radiocommunications and founder of our group, delivered an emotional speech reflecting on his career. He highlighted that, while they have contributed greatly to the university, they have also gained invaluable lessons and personal fulfillment, expressing pride in having played a role in strengthening the public university as a space for knowledge and equal access for all.
