 Carlos Cuevas received the Telecommunication Engineering degree (integrated B.Sc.–M.Sc., ABET-accredited) in 2006 and the Ph.D. in Communications in 2011 (Doctoral Graduation Award), both from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain.

Since 2006, he has been a member of the Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes (Image Processing Group) at UPM.

His research interests include signal and image processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, and automatic target recognition.
