Carlos Cortés received the degree in Electronic Systems Engineering in 2017 (Graduation Award) from the Universidad de Málaga, Málaga, Spain, and the Master’s degree in Electronic Systems Engineering in 2018 from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain.

Since 2018, he has been a member of the Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes (Image Processing Group) at UPM.

His research interests include immersive environments, virtual reality, mixed reality, 360º video, and deep learning.
